ストーリー
I MUSIK by KAORU SHIBUTA Kaoru Shibuta is a painter who has a fascination with sound. He improvises based on how sound appears as colors and shapes. Our senses, including the five senses, are perceived through the integration of information from both sight, which contains a large amount of information, and sound, which we hear. At times, these sensations are interconnected, so no sense exists in isolation. In our daily lives, we are influenced by our environment through our senses and perceptions. However, these influences can enter and leave us without our awareness, seemingly disappearing. Therefore, it cannot be asserted that only what is clearly sensed exists. Shibuta aspires to create an environment where new connections can emerge by drawing inspiration from Japanese culture and the natural environment. This inspiration is expressed through shapes, colors, and materials, which are then placed within space and allowed to circulate. The world connected by sound and music binds us together. Shibuta translates musical notes into images and contemporary installations. He crafts a poetic symphony comprised of images, colors, and harmony through local culture and atmospheric energy. This fusion seamlessly blends nature, music, and art. If Mozart is the composer who bridges the terrestrial world with the celestial realm, then Shibuta is the one who takes on the task of propagating Mozart's work through his paintings.
