ストーリー

These are a series of paintings from my recent residency in Tateyama, Chiba. I created them based on the elements that I discovered around me and the stories from my immediate area.
This particular piece was created and based on the events after I left my residency. A man from the neighborhood that I didn't know gave me a ride to the station. During the ride, he chatted about how he used to work on a ship in the area.

【館山でのひとときから】

作者に親切にしてくれた、とある船乗りの話から産まれたという本作品。海のある街を思わせるような色彩と、力強さを感じさせる大胆な筆致は、眺めているうちに様々な情景を想起させてくれます。


水彩の透明感溢れる滲みと、アクリルのマーブル模様の対比は、互いの質感を引き立て合っているかのようです。


お部屋を爽やかで洗練された印象に見せてくれる本作品。シンプルで飾りやすいサイズのため、玄関や廊下などのちょっとした空きスペースにもおすすめです。
